On December 11, 2019, together with the artists Camilo Pachón and Felipe Castelblanco, we will host our annual screening at Filmforum NRW in the Museum Ludwig. There will be a moderated discussion with protagonists, cooperation partners and other initiators. Come and experience new worlds and voices on the big screen and in conversation!
At BorderlessTV, young people produce short films and thereby provide individual insights into their experiences and realities in life. On show are films from this year as well as the most recent project, which was created in collaboration with Camilo Pachón.
Camilo Pachón (* 1985 in Bogotá, Colombia) has been an artist in residence at CAT Cologne since November. He designs universes that transcend the pictorial and are charged with recurrent motifs, rituals and spiritual beings.

During his residency in Cologne (November – December 2019), Camilo Pachón exlpored the notion of Carnival, costume and foundational myths of a collective identity in a host country. He worked closely with Borderless TV members to create a script and a new experimental film in three parts. The first chapter was released at Film foum on December 13th. 2019.
Camilo Pachón (*1985, in Bogotà) is a visual artist whose work is an anthropological exploration of contemplative, characterized proposals, in which the viewer is immersed in a universe that goes beyond the image, full of recurring themes, rituals and spiritual characters. His recent project called ‚Beyond the Carnival‘ is an approach to the spirit of Barranquilla’s Carnival in Colombia, the second largest carnival in the world, where its tradition throughout history has had strong connections with similar African expressions, and where the trance of the individual is the fundamental basis for the experience and the costumes are its vehicle.
